JFK Airport Terminal 8 is the largest passenger terminal at JFK Airport. Its dimension is twice the size of Madison Square Garden, in NYC. The terminal is able to handle nearly 13M passengers annually.
Some o f the airlines operating there are: American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, British Airways, Qatar, Finnair, among others.
Terminal 8 is the biggest terminal at JFK.

Departure and check-in. Security control in order to go to gates.
In this concourse there are 12 gates: 1 to 8, 10, 14 and 16.
In Concourse C there are 17 gates: 31 to 47. Passenger access to Concourse C is done by an underground tunnel which includes moving walkways.
In this level passengers will find the check-in desks and after the security checkpoint there is access to the different gates, divided into two concourses: Concourse B and Concourse C .
Time to gates:
- Concourse B (1 to 20): 3 to 6 minutes.
Farthest gate (1): 6 minutes.
To gate 20: 3 minutes.
- Concourse C (31 to 47): 9 to 12 minutes.
Farthest gate (31): 12 minutes.
To gate 47: 9 minutes.
At Terminal 8 times to gate can be quite big. Please take that into consideration.

By the AirTrain system is easy to transfer from JFK Terminal 8 to other terminals at John F. Kennedy Airport, since all airport terminals are connected to its network. Train frequency is every 2 to 5 minutes and operates 24/7. Service is free between terminals. You can also connect to the parking lots, hotel shuttle and rental car facilities.
The AirTrain stations are located next to the short-term parking lot at each Terminal.
